Spirulina is a 3 billion years micro-algae, low in calories, which includes many nutriments in a small volume, up to 65 % to 70 % high quality proteins. Consuming Spirulina you can get exceptional source of beta-carotene, iron and phycocyanin.

Raw spirulina flakes are packaged straight after 6 to 8 hours drying.

With a 100 Gr Doypack, you may consume spirulina over a period of about 3 weeks.

How to use

Use rather in the morning or at midday, before or during the meals, between 5 - 8 Gr (one full teaspoon) a day. Spîrulina may be consumed as such, or included in various other warm or cold meals (fruit juice, yoghurt, cereal).

We recommend you to make cures from 1 to 3 months when you are in intense and/or regular physical or intellectual period of activity. You can take a teaspoon (5 gr) every morning according to your taste:

  • With a vegetable / fruit,  rich in C vitamin, in order to improve iron fixation.

  • As ingredient in a yoghurt, cereals, salads...

  • In any cold or warm dishes

  • Directly in the spoon


You may increase the dose gradually up to 8 - 10 Gr a day. Spirulina relates to all persons, of any age and any physical condition :

  • People suffering from micronutrient, iron, magnesium deficiencies

  • As occasional or regular sportsmen, you can consume until 10 Gr a day of spirulina, mainly for short durations and during intense sports trainings or competitions.

  • Vegetarians, and vegan particularly.

  • Growing children and teenagers

Recommendations

  • It is recommended to take only half a spoon for the first five days, the time for your body to get used to spirulina. Detoxifying effects may be a bit strong at the very beginning.

  • As any rich food, spirulina must be used within the framework of a healthy lifestyle and cannot be used as substitute of a varied and well-balanced diet.

  • Within the framework of a normal activity, do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

  • Do not cook spirulina to prevent any vitamins variation and maintain high quality nutrients.

  • Keep the product away from light and moisture.
